Between innovation and digitalization, alongside designers since 2019
Innovation and digitalization in architecture are not just about new technologies but about the expertise built over time. In this article, we reflect on DEAL’s journey alongside designers since 2019.
When thinking about digital innovation in architecture, the focus often shifts to the latest technologies, the most advanced tools, or emerging trends. But true transformation—true "digital architecture"—is not just about software and technical progress. It is a process built over time, project after project, by refining methods, developing expertise, and fostering relationships among all the key players.
DEAL was founded six years ago with a clear vision: to integrate digital tools into the design process in a concrete and effective way. Not as an additional service, but as a structural element capable of improving work quality and optimizing the management of design information. Over the years, our approach has evolved—moving from the enthusiasm of the early days to a solid and mature methodology, shaped by collaborations with leading studios and institutions and by projects that required precision, adaptability, and a constant forward-looking perspective.
Six years in the world of digital architecture and engineering may seem like a short time, yet it has been a period of significant transformation. New tools have emerged, existing ones have evolved, and both challenges and opportunities have reshaped the way digital solutions support designers and builders.
If today DEAL is a recognized name in the industry, it is because each project has been a building block in this journey, refining not only the technologies we use but also the way we integrate them into our workflows. Our goal remains the same: to keep innovating without compromising technical rigor, offering digital solutions that are not just cutting-edge but truly capable of meeting the needs of those who design, build, and transform space.
