DEAL carried out the Scan to BIM survey of the Cityplex Metropolitan in Palermo, employing laser scanning technology to generate a highly detailed digital model of the entire cinema complex.
This work serves as the foundation for the upcoming restyling set to take place in 2027, marking the sixtieth anniversary of the venue.
The survey enabled the precise documentation and representation of every space, establishing a reliable basis for the renovation project. In addition to the survey, a conceptual rendering was developed for the redesign of the cinema’s entrance, providing an initial vision of the potential aesthetic and functional transformations of the building.
