DEAL conducted a georeferenced laser scanner survey of the Teatro Massimo in Catania for One Works, utilizing GNSS (GPS) technology combined with total station measurements to ensure precise and detailed data acquisition.
Similar to the survey carried out for Teatro Corso Sicilia, this intervention included mapping the distribution of urban furnishings and documenting the various paving materials, providing an accurate foundation for the subsequent design phase and supporting the urban regeneration of the area in compliance with required standards.
The data processing enabled the creation of 2D plans in DWG format, essential for the executive design development of the new public space configuration.
